Cookie Policy

What this website stores on your device, why, and how to change your mind.

Last updated 9 September 2026

This policy covers impellabs.tech, the public website of ImpelLabs Inc. It explains the cookies and similar storage (such as localStorage) the site uses. The signed-in product has its own storage, described in the Privacy Policy.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep, so the site can recognise you between pages or visits. localStorage is a similar mechanism that stays on your device and is read only by the site that wrote it. We use both, and we treat them the same way in this policy.

Strictly necessary

These are required for the site to work and cannot be switched off. They do not track you across other websites.

  • impel-consent (localStorage) and impel_consent (cookie): the choice you made on the cookie banner, kept for 180 days so we do not ask again.

  • impel-theme (localStorage): whether you chose light or dark mode.

  • tg_access (cookie): your sign-in session, set only when you sign in to the product. It is what keeps you signed in between pages.

  • The website chat widget keeps a conversation identifier in localStorage so that a conversation you started can continue if you reload the page. It is first party, stores nothing until you open the widget and type, and what it collects is described in the Privacy Policy.

Analytics

If you allow analytics, we load these tools, and none of them is loaded before you allow it. Google Analytics measures page views in aggregate and sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_* for up to two years, and we use Google Tag Manager to load tags. For information on how Google uses data from sites that use its services, see https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Microsoft Clarity records your session — clicks, scrolling and mouse movement — and builds heatmaps from it, and we use Microsoft Advertising to market our products and services. It sets cookies such as _clck and _clsk, and Microsoft may set its own, such as CLID and MUID. Text and form input are masked by default. For more information about how Microsoft collects and uses your data, visit the Microsoft Privacy Statement at https://www.microsoft.com/privacy/privacystatement.

Third parties you may reach from here

Booking a call opens cal.com, and our documentation is hosted at docs.impellabs.tech. Each of those sites sets its own cookies under its own policy once you are there. We do not embed their content on this site.

Changing your choice

Open Cookie settings from the footer of any page to allow or withdraw analytics. Withdrawing stops new measurement and new session recording from the next page load. You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser at any time; the site will simply ask again.

Changes to this policy

If we add a new category of storage, the banner will ask again and this page will show the new date. The date at the top is the version you are reading.
